CMW3014 Playwriting For London
With a variety of seminars, workshops and theatre visits; this module gives you the opportunity to study, create and analyse theatre plays. At the same time you will relate them to the stages and spaces used for the production of new plays in London.
DES1030/DES2030 London Urban Cultures 1 and 2
We shall be exploring London as a historically and culturally rich metropolis that offers art students an exciting array of pleasures, spectacles and cultural histories.
RCT1002 World Religions in London
This field trip based course, consisting of visits to sacred art collections, participating in pilgrimages and religious festivals in London, will allow you to absorb yourself in the diversity of multi faith London and the religious related activities organised by a spectrum of institutions.
SUM0002 Introduction to Creative Writing

DEV3005 Contemporary Issues in the Third World
This module considers some of the key environmental and developmental issues confronting the contemporary ‘Third World’, exploring the nature and origins of the problems they face, and the solutions presented by a range of development actors. This module is suitable for all those studying any of the social sciences and combines well with PO3601 Politics of the European Union.
POI2351 Theory of International Politics
This topical course will allow you to examine the main theories of international politics and their application to interstate relations. Realist, liberal, Marxist and social constructivist approaches are analysed and applied to the study of diplomacy, sovereignty, foreign policy and war.
POI3601 Politics of the European Union
You will be introduced to the political institutions and policies of the EU. The history and theory of European integration is explored along with analysis of the decision making process and key policies.

Study our psychology short courses on our beautiful country park campus. Classes are small (averaging 15 students) to compliment the friendly informal, interactive teaching style and are taught by Middlesex lecturers. Some Summer School courses are designed as pathways onto degrees at Middlesex University. For instance successful completion of the course PSY0010 Introductory Psychology allows access to the BSc Psychology degree. Other psychology modules may enable access onto the BPS accredited Graduation Diploma in Psychology.

SUM0106 Sport Psychology for Coaches and Teachers
How do you coach a winning mindset and the ability to perform under pressure in young athletes? This course will cover both theoretical research and its implications for best practice when working with athletes aged 14 to 18 years old. ELS3323 Gender and the Postmodern
Gender is a central way in which we think and imagine ourselves. This third level module examines how gender has been configured within twentieth-century literary texts, and the role of writing in producing gendered identities.
